This article presents the case of a 35 year-old male with long QT syndrome (LQTS) who suffered from sudden cardiac arrest. Even though asymptomatic LQTS had been diagnosed, the patient had not undergone any medical treatment. His two daughters, aged four and seven, were also diagnosed with LQTS.

The subject was a 70 year-old man who survived for 31 years after being diagnosed with right ventricular cardiomyopathy, having undergone right ventricular (RV) aneurysmectomy at the age of 39. His arrhythmia and syncopal attacks were effectively abolished after the original aneurysmectomy.

New visualization methods are helpful in the noninvasive diagnosis of heart diseases. However, sometimes epicardial and endocardial leads can cause problems due to a large number of artifacts. Based on the presented case, we conclude that it is possible to perform multi-slice computed tomography of coronary arteries despite the coexistence of transvenous and epicardial leads.

Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) is a treatment mode in patients with recurrent, symptomatic, ventricular arrhythmias. A rare but potentially life-threatening complication of RFCA includes injury to the coronary arteries, which leads to acute occlusion and myocardial infarction. In the few reported cases, the most frequently affected vessel has been the left main coronary artery. We present the case of a 28 year-old female.

Electrocardiographic artifacts may generate recordings mimicking supraventricular and ventricular tachyarrhythmias. This report describes the diagnostic challenge presented by Holter or loop recordings in two patients, one with pseudo-atrial flutter and the other with pseudo-polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.

Peri-infarct border zone (BZ) as quantified by late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) on cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been proposed as a risk stratification tool, and is associated with increased mortality.
