The benefits of physical activity in type 2 diabetes were proven in many studies. Increased level of physical activity prevents type 2 diabetes [1, 2]. Physical fitness is a predictor of late complications, like stroke and myocardial infarction [3]. Every 1 MET achieved during exercise stress test decreases the risk of death by 25% [4].
